In order to illustrate my intention with the project I made a short 3 minute presentation on #PowerPoint and #handouts for both of my markers. In the handouts I collected all the important facts and figures, including all the valuable information I did not have time to include in the spoken presentation.
Both my second marker and tutor were pleased with my presenting style and what I included in the pitch. I somehow managed to nail the 3 minute mark as well.
The main problems that were identified through the pitch were my anonymity issues and safety concerns. I know that I have an obligation to keep my sources anonymous and I plan on doing so throughout the entire project. Through planning my #feature I decided that in order to eliminate any possibility of identification, I will need to conduct my own more creative ways of #illustration, without taking pictures of my main interviewees. I will also possibly include #graphics and #illustrations, as my target #publication (#TheGuardianWeekly) uses them in both their print and online editions.
